Spiti Valley is also famous for its high-altitude treks, including the Pin Parvati Pass, Parang La Pass, and Hampta Pass. The valley is also home to the famous Kaza town, which serves as the administrative capital of the Spiti sub-district and is the largest settlement in the valley.

Day 0: Delhi to Manali

  • Start your journey from Delhi to Manali in the evening/night by Volvo / Traveler
  • Overnight journey to Manali.

Day 1: Manali to Kaza

  • Start early from Manali (by bus or private vehicle)
  • Reach Rohtang Pass and continue driving through the beautiful landscapes of Lahaul and Spiti Valley
  • En route, stop at Keylong
  • Reach Kaza by late evening and check-in to your hotel/homestay
  • Overnight stay in Kaza

Day 2: Kaza and Surroundings

  • After breakfast, visit the famous Key Monastery, located around 15 km from Kaza
  • Visit the villages of Kibber and Hikkim, known for their unique culture and traditions
  • Return to Kaza by evening and explore the local markets
  • Overnight stay in Kaza

Day 3: Kaza to Tabo

  • After breakfast, start your journey towards Tabo, known for its ancient Tabo Monastery
  • En route, stop at Dhankar Monastery and Dhankar Lake for some beautiful views of the valley
  • Reach Tabo by afternoon and check-in to your hotel/homestay

Day 4: Tabo to Kaza

Day 5: Kaza to Chandratal

  • Set up your camps and enjoy a peaceful night under the starry sky

Day 6: Chandratal to Manali

  • After breakfast, start your journey back to Manali
  • En route, stop at the scenic Batal and Chhatru
  • Reach Manali by evening and spend some time relaxing and exploring the town
  • After dinner, depart from Manali for your onward journey
